You can come to our meetings as a guest to try Toastmasters, without commitment or pay. When you decide to join, simply fill in a membership form and pay your fees as instructed by the Committee members.  As a member, you will be able to sign up for speeches and take up roles during our meetings. There are many benefits to Toastmasters membership. We hope you will choose our club to explore them!

How do I join?

The easiest way to join is to come to one of our meetings, fill in the membership form and get payment instructions from our Treasurer.

What happens when I join?

Once your dues are paid, you can create an account on our Club Management portal to sign up for speeches and meeting roles. We recommend you book your first Icebreaker speech as soon as possible after joining, to try your hand at speaking in front of an audience, and to establish a baseline for your future progress.

In a few weeks after joining, you will receive your Competent Communicator and Competent Leader manuals, the first books on your Toastmaster journey. You will also receive a monthly Toastmasters magazine, included in your membership fee.

We will try our best to make you welcome as a new member. If you need extra support, please ask for a Mentor to guide you through your first projects.

Here’s a warm welcome from Toastmasters’ International President Mohammed Murad:

How much does it cost?

We are a non-profit club, all dues go towards venue hire and club materials. All logistics and operation of the club is run by volunteer members on our Committee.

We strongly believe that Toastmasters offers  the best value-for-money peer-based learning for public speaking skills. If you want to invest in your development and enjoy the learning, the one-off enrollment fee is £20 which helps cover the cost of your manuals, and the membership fee is £70 for 6 months or £120 for 12 months.
